Chad Herd has been practicing as a landscape architect for 19 years. His journey through the profession has led him through a variety of projects from planning to urban design and landscape architecture. In the course of this work Chad has developed a keen sense for understanding how people interact with the surrounding environment. Chad has specialized in riverfront planning and design, having led several greenway and riverfront master plans for communities throughout the country. Currently, he is using his refined understanding of "people places" to lead the design effort on several resort projects in a variety of locations in the mountain and desert west.

Chad is a licensed landscape architect in three states and adds a solid design leadership component to LandWorks Design, Inc. Over the years, Chad has also developed a talent for traditional landscape graphics which he shares with staff and has often contributed to local universities.
